State senator from Window Rock getting married

Sen. Albert Hale

Sen. Albert Hale, a Window Rock Democrat and former president of the Navajo Nation, is getting married on June 27.

Hale will marry Dr. Paula Curley, the state advocacy and policy manager for Save the Children-Western Region.

Hale joined the Senate in 2004.

He served as the President of the Navajo Nation from 1995 to 1998.

A lawyer, Hale is also a former president of the Navajo Nation Bar Association.

Hale would be the second state senator to get married this year.

Sen. Jim Waring, a Phoenix Republican, was married on March 28 in Tempe.
