Publisher’s Note: Politics. Simplified.

This tagline – Politics. Simplified. – sums up our new and improved Web site perfectly.

If you want to know what’s happening in Arizona politics, you go to the leader in Capitol news: the Arizona Capitol Times. And now, we’ve taken that mission a step farther by recreating our Web site. The inside track to Arizona politics is available 24/7 at www.azcapitoltimes.com.

We’ve added blogs, video links, reader comment sections, a daily schedule of events and more photos of the Capitol community. On the home page you’ll find daily news updates, insider information from the yellowsheetreport.com and quick access to our online legislative bill tracking service, Legislation On-Line Arizona. Plus, you’ll find all your favorite weekly features – Capitol Quotes, Times Past, UpClose and Focus sections, as well as guest commentaries, letters to the editor and categorized news for easy browsing.

As a paid subscriber of Arizona Capitol Times, you automatically receive access to www.azcapitoltimes.com, and can opt to receive our Morning Edition and breaking news e-mail alerts.

There is much more to see and explore, but you’ll have to register first to take it all in. If you haven’t already signed up for online access to azcapitoltimes.com – registration is quick and easy:

1. Go to https://subscribe.azcapitoltimes.com/ (or click on “Subscribe now!” in the upper, right-hand corner of the azcapitoltimes.com home page.)
2. Under the subheading “Already a Subscriber?” click on the line that starts “• Get online access…click here”
3. Fill out the registration page – you will need your 6-digit subscription account number, which can be found on your label.

If you are unable to locate your account number or would like to become a paid subscriber, please call 602-889-7142, and Julie Lanley can help you. Or you can e-mail her at julie.lanley@azcapitoltimes.com

The Morning Edition e-mail alerts and breaking news alerts are free. To register go to www.azcapitoltimes.com and sign up. You can also register to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Your comments are important to us at Arizona News Service as we continue to grow the Arizona Capitol Times. Please let me know what you think of our site by contacting managing editor Matt Bunk at 602-889-7132 or me at 602-258-7026, ext. 110 or ginger.lamb@azcapitoltimes.com.
