Brewer: ‘We did it’

It’s not Buz Mills money, but Gov. Jan Brewer told supporters via e-mail today (Jan. 5) that she has successfully collected more than 5,500 $5 contributions to qualify for Clean Elections funding.

In an e-mail titled “We did it!” Brewer also says she has collected $51,240 in seed money. “I am overwhelmed and thankful for all of your hard work and dedication in getting this enormous task done in just two short months,” Brewer wrote. “There is still a lot of work to be done between now and Election Day, but it is important to celebrate the victories we have along the way. I will need your help in the upcoming months as we tackle the tough issues that face Arizona…. I consider myself blessed with your support.”
