Kirkpatrick gets warning from district

The heat is on Ann Kirkpatrick, as a Prescott newspaper labeled her as a Pelosi-puppet while Rep. Andy Tobin and Sen. Steve Pierce told her the district won’t be fooled by a congressional “deem and pass” maneuver on national health care reform.

The Prescott Daily Courier said her voiced support for the reform push should come as no surprise, as she is doing “exactly what the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee paid $2 million in advance during the 2008 campaign for her to do.” And that, wrote the paper, is “whatever House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tells her to do when the time comes.”
