I have had payday loans and yes they do charge a high interest amount.
However! with the economy being like it is, Banks and Credit unions will not give out small loans to people who need them. Especially if you have bad credit or you have filed bankruptcy.I know first hand how frustrating it can be when you need money to pay your bills and you cannot get help from anyone. It is easy to get a payday loan and at the time all you can think about is getting your bills paid. Now because of the payday loans being shut down i have to pay my loan back in one lump some wich will put me behind on my other bills. There has got to be a better solution somewhere. Some people only need a 1,000 dollars or two to get out of dept. Credit card companies want you to have at least 10,000 in debt before they will help you. Where is the logic in that. All i can say is we the tax payers need a break and soon.
