Arizona Sen. John McCain plans to turn in his petition signatures to get on the state’s Aug. 24 primary election ballot.
McCain’s campaign says the four-term senator will submit the signatures to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office on Friday.
McCain will be the third Republican to turn in petitions. Former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth and Navy veteran Jim Deakin also have turned in signatures.
Former Tucson City Councilman Rodney Glassman is the only Democrat to file them.
