It's high time to get a handle on illegal immigration. SB 1070 is not about race but the rule of law. But I think only the law enforcement will show if it assumes the racial profiling.
However we need to hear your opinion at http://immigration.civiltalks.com

[...] AzCaptit0lTimes Thousands take to Phoenix to protest Arizona’s new immigration law Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon thanked the crowd for remaining peaceful and commended the police for their work, before extolling the protesters for keeping Arizona and the issue of immigration reform in the national spotlight. Gordon said the continued protests of the new law is the only way to prompt federal action to fix the federal immigration system. “Welcome to the site of the next civil-rights movement,” Gordon said. “There’s more than just hope here, there’s action.” About 7,000 supporters of Arizona’s law gathered Saturday evening at a baseball stadium in suburban Tempe, encouraging like-minded Americans to “buycott” Arizona by planning vacations in the state. “Hopefully if enough people show support for Arizona more states will follow suit,” reddit_url = http://rightvsleft.com/2010/05/30/arizona-dueling-immigration-rallies/;reddit_title = Arizona%3A+Dueling+Immigration+Rallies+;reddit_newwindow='1';ShareSave Amazon.com Widgets [...]

The only illegal aliens here are EUROPEANS. Europeans have been illegals here since 1492 because they: - invaded our continent as pirates, enslavers, murderers, thieves, outcasts and unbathed losers of Europe - violated the sovereignty of every single First Nation Government in the Western Hemisphere - broke every treaty and legal agreement with First Nation Governments - they exported their WHITE POVERTY here from Europe instead of FIXING their own countries in Europe like responsible people - spread their European diseases everywhere they went - demanded rights they did not deserve (ie ownership of our lands) - refused to assimilate into the cultures of Indigenous Nations (they continue to cling to their European languages today) - brought Asian/Middle Eastern inventions and technology (guns, gunpowder, printing press, magnetic compass, The Bible, Arabic Numerals, chinese chain drive etc) and declared that this made them racially superior.www.ProtestArizona.com

Isn't it obvious by now that the supporters of this "law" are angry, White men?
Why are they so angry over this law, but not others? Where are their beet-red, screaming faces with other Federal laws, like the U.S. INDIAN TREATIES? What about Federal LABOR LAWS? Why are they MIA on other Federal laws that need enforcement?
This is simply about White Supremacist "trailer trash" that knows they can't compete against the Mexican worker, frustrated by their loss of "White Affirmative Action" that for generations has given them social freebies without question or serious competition. www.ProtestArizona.com

Busing illegals in to protest the Arizona law today was a novel idea. Here is another one. Bus them out. Take all the illegals from jail, prison, detention, emergency rooms, under bridges, back streets and alleys, crack houses, shelters, low income housing, libraries, nursing homes, McDonalds and other fast food restaurants, soup kitchens, plasma centers, crammed motel rooms, Bureau of Land Management forest, city parks and bus them to sanctuary cities that are sending protesters to Phoenix. Top of the list would be San Francisco, L.A., San Diego, Chicago, Washington D.C., Austin, and Salt Lake City. Charter Arizona buses to shore up local businesses. It is after all a two way street. Parity better than charity.

Arizona is the laughing stock of the country-and only "arizonans" (read displaced midwesterners) think this law is a good idea. Lo siento mucho, podner!

Illegal aliens are criminals. They need to be shipped back home as fast as they can be located. Everyone (including me) that is arrested needs to be checked for American citizenship regardless what country you come from, and no one but a legal citizen of the licensing state should be allowed a drivers license. Hurrah for Arizona passing a law that the feds should be enforcing anyway.

50,000 protesters? I don't think it even came close! I was driving within a couple of blocks from the "march" route both at 10:15AM (to attend a meeting in downtown Phoenix) and once again at 12:30 PM when my meeting ended. No where was traffic backed up, nor did I see any of these "50,000" protesters anywhere! My drive from Northeast Phoenix to downtown went as smoothly as any normal Saturday flow of traffic. These numbers are obviously fudged by organizers and media in order to make it appear that there is more support for the "Si Su Puede" crowd than what there really is. If there is so much wide spread support to disable SB 1070, why did the organizers have to bus people in from California and from other locations outside of the State of Arizona? It's all hype and media embellishment that makes a small number of people appear to be engulfing the state......take it from an eyewitness......I was there!
