McCain to hold town-hall meeting in Yuma

Sen. John McCain will be campaigning in Yuma in southwestern Arizona on Friday.

The senator will open his Yuma County Campaign Office and then head to Armed Forces Park to receive an award from the county Chamber of Commerce.

McCain is then scheduled to hold a town-hall meeting.

The former presidential candidate is running for re-election to the U.S. Senate. J.D. Hayworth, a former congressman and talk-radio host, hopes to unseat McCain in Arizona’s Aug. 24 Republican primary.
