Sheriff’s office raids El Mirage business

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a raid at sanitation businesses in El Mirage and neighboring Youngtown northwest of Phoenix.

A news release issued by the Sheriff’s Office said deputies began serving search warrants early Friday at Parks & Sons sanitation of Sun City.

The search warrants are being served after a six month investigation based on anonymous tips from current Parks & Sons employees into allegations that employees of the sanitation company were suspected of being illegal immigrants and used false identification to gain employment.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio is expected to deliver remarks at the scene.

The company’s Web site says it provides impeccable service to customers in the West Valley since 1964.

There was no answer at the business Friday morning.

  1. This is more destruction and damage coming from unbridled illegal
immigration. The border needs to be controlled, yes, it can be done,
and these people coming into our country, unlawfully, need to realize
that they will be punished and sent home.
