Goddard’s rocky relationship with S1070 (access required)

Attorney General Terry Goddard has had quite the roller coaster ride while staking out his positions on S1070. He opposed the law and wishes Gov. Jan Brewer had vetoed it, but also opposed the lawsuit against it. He vowed to defend the state in court, but blasted Brewer for her failure to do so.

  1. Goddard has tried his best to think through what is sensible, sane, and smart for Arizona, unlike Brewer, who has done everything she has done for political gain; such as calling us the “kidnapping capital” with be-headings everywhere, Goddard has tried to protect Arizona and Arizonans. He actually wants to see us prosper and grow- she only cares about winning her election.
Goddard actually cares about our future!
