Wake up, McCain – it’s 2010

Sen. John McCain, while your daughter and wife support marriage equality, what grants you the right to block another loving couple from marrying or even adopting because they happen to be gay – just because they are gay – when your own lack of personal responsibility ended your marriage?

Last I checked, according to an article in the ~Los Angeles Times~, dated July 2008, in your autobiography; you had said “my marriage’s collapse was attributable to my own selfishness and immaturity.”

You stand so “strong” on military and defense, especially in your campaign advertisements, yet you continue to oppose those who are gay to openly fight and defend our country.

As a gay teen myself; where are you standing behind the youth that are being bullied daily – remember that “Student Non-Discrimination Act?”

Your constituents can also be fired for being gay, because you also won’t support the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

McCain, this is 2010. You’re not defending your constituents, the youth or our families, so you’re out.
