Brewer, McCain to campaign together for 2nd time

Arizona Sen. John McCain and Gov. Jan Brewer are scheduled to campaign together in a “victory tour” on Thursday and Friday.

Both politicians won their Republican primaries on Tuesday.

The pair is scheduled to campaign Thursday in Prescott, Glendale, Phoenix and Gilbert. On Friday they’ll be in Prescott Valley, Tempe and Tucson.

The two-day swing will be the second this month for Brewer and McCain. They stopped in five rural communities on Aug. 13 and 14.

McCain faces former Tucson City Councilman Rodney Glassman and Brewer faces Attorney General Terry Goddard in the Nov. 2 election.
