May, Eckstein get chippy in court (access required)

Steve May has been unapologetic over his recruitment of four Mill Avenue “street people” to run as Green Party candidates, and his defiance was on full display when he took the witness stand.

  1. It is sad that Grandpa has been victimized and manipulated like this! The GOP should take a stand against treating homeless people like tools in their games. But instead, the GOP chose to participate and support May in his endeavors.

  2. Steve May is manic, self-centered, and a toal narcissist. Maybe the latter charactersitic is why Hugh Hallman put up May to run for the legislature in the first place.

  3. Frankly, I am in the mood to vote for, and elect, these homeless political candidates.

They could not do any worse than the conventional wisdom idiot-liberals already in office. Perhaps more of our citizenry should be inspired to seek elected office. A life-experience of actually working for a living, paying taxes, and trying to educate and feed oneself is a valuable perspective.

  4. Note to Charles: It’s the idiot Republicans (and voters like you) in charge of Aribama’s legislature. As usual, Rs don’t let the facts get in the way of their spin. “A life-experience of actually working for a living, paying taxes, and trying to educate and feed oneself is a valuable perspective.” It doesn’t appear that has worked out too well for these homeless souls, likely drugs and alcohol a factor in their plight. May is simply using them like Rs use poor people all the time.
