Friday is deadline for requesting an early ballot

Arizonans who want to vote in the Nov. 2 election by early ballot face a Friday deadline for requesting a ballot.

Voters can cast early ballots at a limited number of county recorder locations through Oct. 29.

Those ballots have to be received by elections officials or dropped off at polling places by 7 p.m. on Nov. 2 in order to be counted.

The ballot will include races for the governor’s post, a U.S. Senate seat, state legislative posts, ballot measures and other political posts.
