Arizona Attorney General Tom Horne says his office is joining Gov. Jan Brewer in a multistate challenge to the constitutionality of the federal health care overhaul law.
Brewer joined the suit last May and Horne is now doing so, about two weeks after the former superintendent of public instruction took office as attorney general.
Democrat Terry Goddard declined to join the legal challenge when he was state attorney general.
Brewer and Horne are both Republicans.
The case is pending in U.S. District Court in Pensacola, Fla.
