A public meeting to put some light on the federal government’s plan for developing solar energy is scheduled in Tucson Wednesday night.
KOLD-TV reports the public meeting is one of 13 being held across the West to examine solar energy development on public lands.
It also will provide local citizens and others with an interest in renewable energy development to offer comments and suggestions.
One of the topics of discussion includes the Bureau of Land Management’s solar development plan.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Tucson Marriott University Park.
