Arizona’s Border Defense Prayer

Obama like Nero sings, midst Arizona’s border flames and travail,
hoodwinked Justice drops her scales, and totters from her sacred dais.
Virtue and freedom are thy care here below Arizona,
be not the parricide of those who gave thee being.
Arizonan’s ne’er bowed their knee to idolish power,
and still lisp freedom ‘pon freedmen’s lips,
though every tie of Law and Justice now be broken.
Arizona, indignant Justice begs of thee protection,
from Constitution’s now mangled law and reason.

This says it all:

just because you read something on the Senate floor, does not make it “”presenting another side to an issue that’s really important”…

There are a million points of view, but you dont read the most outrageous and pretend it represents the mainstream…

I am embarrassed that these elected officials are supposed to represent Arizona. Klein comes across as the racist bigot she truly is! No Klein, not all Hispanics want to grow up to be gang members, and not all “white” kids want to grow up to be skin heads. As a Hispanic female who currently holds two graduate degrees I listen to the garbage that spews from your and Little Rusty’s mouth and can only feel sorry for you and your narrow minded ignorance.

Pearce is EVERYTHING that is wrong for Arizona. I don’t know how a white supremacist become a leader in the Senate. Little Rusty doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. He conjures up bills that are unconstitutional and wastes valuable time that should be used to solve Arizona problems, like job, jobs, jobs. He seems to want to push Arizona into that “mecca of prejudice and bigotry.” Look in the dictionary for BIGOT and you will fine Rusty Pearce. I taught for over 3 decades in the Phoenix area and I had a variety of ethnic groups as students. I find the Hispanics were much more respectful and they valued education more than many of my non-Hispanic students. In fact, I can’t remember a Hispanic or Asian or Iraqi or Iranian ever giving me trouble.
Klein is an idiot. That letter represented ONE bigoted person’s opinion of Hispanics from his vast sometimes-a-teacher experience, not one side of the argument. If I knew a substitute like this, he would never step one foot inside my classroom. This letter she chose to read is just as damaging because it is what she thinks. I’m tired of being embarrassed for Arizona.
