Mock border fence on UA campus

 .

University of Arizona students walking to class Monday were faced with a steel and barbed wire obstacle.

A group of students erected a mock border fence right in the middle of campus making it difficult for people to get around.

Organizer Francisco Baires tells KGUN-TV that was the point. To create an uncomfortable disruption.

Other students say the campus is not the place for this kind of political message.

The fence was placed only on the lawn.

All the walkways going through can still be used to walk by.

Students told KGUN they plan to continue decorating the fence and make it more like the actual border that includes having mock border patrol agents checking people’s immigration status.

Organizers are also planning other things but they didn’t go into detail.

  1. So who exactly paid for this fence?

  2. Please place the fence so it keeps the leftist academics within the confines of their commune….er, campus, that is.
