Governor Brewer is taking her oath as Governor very seriously as she will not use the state's very limited resources to placate a few. Three cheers for her! If the people we hired (elected) aren't mature enough to figure out how to reduce the federal budget together and compromise enough to present a quality federal budget, then federal lands should not be open at the expense of the states. It is time we told our elected representatives to wake up and do their jobs. Arizona's Senator McCain can't seem to care enough to help his home state but he will fly all the way to Libya to help "rebels" who have dubious backgrounds. Ask him to wake up from his nap and get busy on a federal budget that will keep the Grand Canyon open.
