People on both side of the issue are suffering. We need to make the illegal channels unappealing , & we need to make the legal channels reasonable! A 20 year wait for many, if even that (the legal channels are denied to many without good reason imo), & the only USA consulate that works with USA visas & waivers (in Mexico) located in Juarez where 8-10 murders occur a day is NOT reasonable (and people wonder why many people don't use the legal channels. We should not tear apart families, destroy educations, or punish children for their parents' actions. However benefiting from the country should be giving back or else the system in place will fail, & we all will suffer economically & security-wise. Make the legal channels work! If good people want to do the right thing, let them! Who are we to deny others? Based on what? Not chaos, but order that works for all. United, we can benefit from each other. It is about time.
