This racist outlook on Latino immigrants is not about them not paying taxes or enjoying a "free ride," it's about having someone to blame during these tough economic times. Furthermore, immigrants travel to the United States to work menial jobs that citizens and residents refuse to do anyways. Instead of blocking undocumented individuals from an educational process that will allow them to be productive and educated members of society, Proposition 300 further pushes undocumented students away from those goals. What happened to the "American" value of education? "Law and Order" and "Invasion" are heavily coded terms used to disguise the prevalent sense of racism that has infiltrated immigration policy in the United States, and more specifically Arizona. This is racism at its core and it needs to be put to a stop. Arizona take a hint from Illinois. SB2185 just passed the state Senate. This bill sets up a privately funded scholarship fund for undocumented students seeking higher education. It had BI-PARTISAN SUPPORT in the Senate. A Republican state senator made the wise remark that immigrant youth are our future. Arizona's future seems to be in the dump seeing as how it is oppressing its future leaders by withholding a higher education. I praise those students for their hard work and continual efforts to pursue a higher education even though society attempts to hinder it. We welcome immigrants, but you must be here legally. Illegals are illegals, who don't pay ant taxes, therefore, you don't have any right to have free education, health care, social services like the Americans. We cannot accommodate the whole world. The idea of giving away free tuition to illegals not only would break the law it would further encourage people to come here illegally, paying no taxes, yet enjoying free ride of all kind of social programs. Proposition 300 is the law-to make sure the integrity of our education system and guard our citizens from the invaders. Repealing Proposition 300 would create a state of anarchy- a massive wave of invasion into our southern border. Democrats want more illegals so that they would be loyal and vote democrats. In the 2010 election, We defeated the Democrats and their allies-we saved America from another catastrophe like the Obama victory in 2008. America is a land of law and order.
