Dreaming up immigration nightmares for a price

Did you know that the DREAM Act, which would grant resident status and form a path to citizenship for illegal alien students who want to go to college or enter the military, is a full-blown nightmare? Did you know it’s the greatest threat to the nation’s sovereignty, national security and economic future? Me, either.

For the most part, I never realized the crisis that faces our nation. We’re quickly approaching the point of no return. Soon, we could be offering illegal immigrants in-state college tuition rates or free trips to Afghanistan or Pakistan (on the condition that they shoot some dangerous people).

I have Sean McCaffrey, the former executive director of the Arizona Republican Party, to thank for this revelation. Last year, McCaffrey formed Ban Amnesty Now, a 501(c)(4) organization devoted to issue advocacy. The issue, if you aren’t catching on, is scaring people half to death about Hispanics.

Last year, McCaffrey told the Yellow Sheet Report, an insider tip sheet published by the parent company of Arizona Capitol Times, that “our goal, as a group, is to educate Americans about what’s going on with illegal immigration and to stop Washington from passing an amnesty scheme.” After that, he pretty much stopped returning our calls. Thankfully, we still receive the emails.

Like the one last year that warned “thousands of illegal aliens” had “taken to the streets” to register to vote and otherwise “steal” the House and Senate elections. The shocking news came as shocking news to Secretary of State Ken Bennett, who immediately declared the claims to be downright false.

That tidbit was even enough to get the attention of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, then the honorary co-chair of BAN, whose name appeared below the incredible “news.” Arpaio’s political machine, which has always been into showmanship, declared McCaffrey’s allegations to be “baseless and reckless,” and threatened McCaffrey with a lawsuit to get him to stop using the sheriff’s name and likeness. It took months for McCaffrey to comply.

Interestingly, Yellow Sheet learned last year that McCaffrey had about as much respect for truth as he did for the people who signed up to receive his emails in vain hopes of impacting domestic immigration policy.

Last October, McCaffrey was quietly attempting to rent his million-plus email distribution list to the campaign consultants of candidates, never mind the fact that he pledged on his website not to release subscriber information to outside parties.

Since then, he’s kept people up to speed on dead-on-arrival federal legislation to stop the children of illegal immigrants from becoming citizens. Debating the issue — and taking either side of the equation — is perfectly fine, and altogether expected. Currently, the citizenship rights of those children are protected by legal interpretations of the 14th Amendment, which McCaffrey argued is propped up as an “immoral shield” to protect illegal immigrants’ insatiable desire to undermine the nation.

Similar debates can and are held on the DREAM Act, and, of course, McCaffrey has every legal right to tell as many people as he can that the legislation will lead to hordes of illegal immigrants soaking up welfare and voting for Democrats — which he has. I suppose questioning why immigrants, legal or not, should get cheaper access to higher education than U.S. citizens lacks the alarmist firepower.

And it might be nice to observe an illegal immigration or “comprehensive” reform debate that draws a distinction between assassins for the Los Zetas gang from the kitchen staff of Pei Wei and the bed-turners at the Holiday Inn. It’s also hard to imagine mass WWII-era deportations, or cutting off children from basic health care and education.

In the meantime, McCaffrey needs your help. BAN’s honorary chairman, Senate President Russell Pearce, is facing a possible recall. For $25, $50, $100 or $500, you can help BAN help Russell, “the man who put his career on the line to defend our borders.”

Just how McCaffrey’s BAN intends to do this is unknown. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(4), the group is prohibited from spending its money on campaign efforts to directly promote or oppose political candidates. In an email, our illegal immigration evangelist skipped on detailing how it would help stop a Pearce recall, and instead directed “legal-ish” questions to an attorney. BAN’s tax designation doesn’t require that he disclose his contributors or financial records, and McCaffrey declined an invitation to do just that. Still, given the horrific nightmare ahead, I was sort of hoping he’d make an exception. Until then, I’m as confused as Arpaio consultant Chad Willems, who last year raised an interesting point: “What exactly that money is being used for is a mystery.”

  1. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida is not the major activist against illegal immigration, for the TEA PARTY. That’s one of the most serious issues on their agenda for the 2012 election. Any TEA PARTY leader, who is not, will be quickly removed. Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann and Tea Party sweetheart is a major contender in revitalizing the massive, out-of-control problem. Kentucky Republican Rand Paul, a freshman and tea party favorite is ready to fight the illegal immigrant invasion. Whether it’s Utah or some other State, economic illegal aliens will soon head your way to Sanctuary Cities or even States like California. Those State legislators not implementing E-Verify or Secure Communities will be crucified in 2012.

Millions of American workers nationwide may soon be beholden to State Senator Pierce and Governor Brewer, as not being intimidated by Liberal extremists. By pushing into a fast track of E-Verify to the Supreme Court. Californians Proposition 187 was toppled and engineered to not reach the high court of the land, that would have certainly saved billions of dollars for taxpayers burdened heavily with entitlements for illegal foreign national households. Another problem we have is Stolen and fraudulent ID, which has been proven to be used to alter the direction of elections. Arizona is clamping down on bogus ID hard, by not accepting foreign ID that has been allowed by some States to provide bank accounts. Same as ITIN IRS numbers that also provides a sense of legitimatized, but has been used in child tax refund fraud.

Illicit Companies and open border interests are just one cause of financial fall of America. Democratic leaders discounted the Tea Party and measured them as nothing more than a small group of discontents. The GOP, on the other hand, understood that it wasn’t and were smart enough to encourage them into their party. People have been wondering for a long time, who Congress works for? The American people or big business lobby? That question is simply answered, when the United States, unlike other nations doesn’t make it a felony to trespass on to our sovereign territory. Decades of complete brain oblivion–intentional or not on the part of both political parties in Congress, has cost us millions of US jobs, lowering of wage, and higher taxes specifically in the lower working classes. We are forced to pay for their children’s education, the whole household’s health care and many well concealed programs by government. Illegal aliens are just that illegal. They are robbing the taxpayer, where they came from Asia, Europe or Central and South America.

While Americans are in foreclosure, cars reprocessed and unable to pay their bills, there are an estimated 8 million gainfully employed. Illegal aliens are still pouring across the border or flying from other nations and are not being tracked as in Mexico. The Third Party will stem this illegal economic occupation once and for all. The Tea Party will not vote for any new Amnesties, better labeled as Immigration Reform. The People’s power is omnipotent, but we must stand together against many entities who are only interested in profit and exploitation. We can join NumbersUSA and band together by demanding a–MANDATORY E-VERIFY–nationwide, from our federal, State representatives or call Senate—202-224–3121/ House—202-225–3121.

  2. Wow.. Brittanicus really chose an appropriate pseudoname… for he appears to be an old dinosaur with such trite European scapegoat mentality. Nevermind, he fails to prove his twisted ethnocentric logic. He says

“While Americans are in foreclosure, cars reprocessed and unable to pay their bills, there are an estimated 8 million gainfully employed”

GREAT LOGIC… Are you assuming the foreclosure and REPROCESSED (ha ha) cars problems were caused by unAUTHORIZED human beings? Great way to prove it.

I’m not sure if I should spend any more of my energy analyzing his otherwise jingoist comment. It’s just now worth it.

We all know the illegal immigration problem was mainly created by affluent Americans (Mainly European descendants ,factory owners, families needing nannies, restaurant owners, etc) in need of cheap labor. Any educated person knows that DEMAND creates supply.

So you brought in an influx of cheap workers and then denied them any legal status. On top of that, you locked them inside the country. Subsequently, they had offspring and their numbers grew. AND NOW… you are fed up with your economy and who do you scapegoat???.. THE SAME PEOPLE that have been serving you.

To all of you… especially the ones that claim to be religious… i say HYPOCRITES… HYPOCRITES… HYPOCRITES.

Take responsibility for your actions. Admit that you needed the cheap labor. Now that the tables are turning, you vilify others in an attempt to evade responsibility for your economic disaster.

If you want to do the right thing… you have to start acting like decent human beings treating others with respect and dignity.

if this country wasn’t such a SUPERSIZE me GLUTTON country.. perhaps there wouldn’t be a need for cheap labor and you would get to keep your homogeneous European ancestry intact.

    A contrario Sensu.
