Senators to meet in Show Low to discuss wildfires

A committee of the Arizona Senate will meet in Show Low to gather information about wildfires.

The committee will discuss ways to reduce the risk of massive wildfires.

Forest experts are scheduled to speak at the committee’s meeting Thursday afternoon.

Arizona has experienced three major wildfires so far this year.

Those fires have either been contained or are close to being fully contained.

One of the blazes is the largest wildfire in state history.
