I’m with Duke. An elected official pointing a loaded weapon at the chest of a citizen may possibly perhaps in some way be considered to be a slightly minor concern, but talk of sensible regulations pertaining to gun ownership is just too horrifying to think about.

What Sen. Klein is alleged to have done was stupid and inexcusable, but what I find most chilling in the story is Rep. Sinema’s comment on “…a reasonable, rational conversation about how and when to regulate guns while protecting the Second Amendment rights of Arizonans.” Anyone familiar with bills Sinema has introduced in past sessions should be painfully cognizant of the fact that she has little interest in the ‘rights’ of anyone, especially firearms owners, and will do everything in her power to curtail them.

Ok, for one…You can’t say how “lax” AZ gun laws are. One person’s action doesn’t prove one cent of how people are with guns…it’s actually hysterical, because other states are FAR worse than AZ…Gifford’s situation was tragic, but, just because of her position in Politics, makes us horrible? What about the millions who have been shot/killed? Don’t be ignorant, and say how “lax” AZ gun laws are…look everywhere else before you come to an opinion on this matter.

I am a gun owning, law abiding citizen and strong proponent of gun rights. As strong a proponent I am of gun rights, I am an even stronger proponent of gun SAFETY. On that aspect I am afraid you’ve failed ! Inexplicable, Inexcusable !
