Brewer cuts nearly half-million-dollar check for SB1070 defense (access required)

Gov. Jan Brewer cut a $486,000 check for the state’s legal defense of SB1070 on Thursday.

The expenditure covers Arizona’s defense of the landmark illegal immigration law from September 2010 to September 2011 from the law firm Snell & Wilmer.
