Meanwhile, Baldenegro is inspiring the people, and has received the endorsements of Congressman Raul Grijalva, Congressman Keith Ellison, the United Steelworkers of America, Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, State Sen. Steve Gallardo, Randy Parraz, State Reps. Catherine Miranda, Bruce Wheeler, Macario Saldate, and Sally Gonzales, among many others. These people would not have put their names behind Wenona, if she didn't have \organization.\ Ann may have all the money in the world, but she has absolutely no support, and she cannot buy her way back into office. Palin's buddies, Robinson and van Flein would be albatrosses around hi neck in such a race. So, we see an inept congressman moving into a new district, facing challenges from Arpaio's kid brother and a man who had to cave on supporting his buddy, because of assault charges. Not much of a choice for Republicans....Meanwhile, Democrats DO have a choice. The can either elect a candidate who skated on the Dream Act and supported SB 1070, a law which decimated Arizona's economy, to supply fodder for the Koch brothers' financed private prison system, and caved on many other issues, favoring corporations over the citizen, or they can choose a candidate who will represent their needs. They can elect Wenona Benally Baldenegro, and see support for Medicare, Social Security, and mine safety. Wenona stands against mining for uranium at the Grand Canyon, and demands Peabody clean up their mess, so the Navajo can stop wheezing to death. Yes, Democrats have a real choice. Most of my friends in CD1 are supporting Wenona Benally Baldenegro for Congress. I have a feeling that Randy Parraz has taught the people of Arizona it does not take endless money to enact change it takes a good cause and the dedication of volunteers. It's a farce to even think this is a true competitive district. They stacked it with every tribal reservation they could get to, including some they had to work hard to get to. They carved out CD9 for the Democrats, too. That makes 4 confirmed protected districts for Dems who have a 30% voter registration. Two protected Republican districts, CD4 & CD6 and the R's have a 36% voting registration. The other 3 might be actually competitive, maybe!!!
