The author of the state’s controversial immigration law has taken his voice from the halls of the State Senate to the radio airwaves.

Ousted former Arizona Senate President Russell Pearce began his new career as a radio talk show host Tuesday night over Phoenix radio station KFNX 1100 AM.

ABC 15.Com reports the Pearce program is sponsored by BanAmnestyNow.com, a group that Pearce runs as its president.

During the course of his radio show, many of the calls and emails to Pearce from listeners involved immigration and politics.

The Mesa resident says he plans to run again for office but wouldn’t elaborate.

  1. Pearce continues to spew the same rhetoric that got him ousted. Remember the letter from 60 companies that influenced the vote against all Pearce’s hate bills in the last legislative session? I haven’t forgotten the damage this man has done to the Arizona economy.
