Gov. Jan Brewer is set to deliver a keynote speech Tuesday at a major border security expo being held in downtown Phoenix.

More than 1,000 people from 40 states and 10 countries are expected to attend the expo to learn about border security and see the latest technology in the field.

That technology includes surveillance equipment and unmanned aerial drones.

The expo also will include seminars on topics from human smuggling to the impacts of enforcing immigration laws on government agencies.

The conference lasts through Wednesday, when U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Fisher will deliver the keynote speech.
