Enough cash for twelve seconds of legal advice

Yesterday’s Senate approps hearing on S1533 (IRC; supplemental appropriation) saw Republicans vote to give the IRC extra funding for FY12 – but only $1 as a placeholder amount – while Democrats voted against the measure because the amount wasn’t large enough.
