A three-person panel considering the attorney discipline case against former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas plans to unveil its decision on April 10.
Thomas is accused of bringing criminal cases against two county officials to embarrass them and charging a judge with bribery when Thomas knew the charges were false.
All three cases collapsed in court.
Thomas contends that he was trying to root out corruption in county government.
If found to have violated ethical rules, Thomas could face a wide range of punishments.
The possible punishments include a reprimand, suspension or disbarment.
