Yet another unfunded mandate from the hypocritical, extremist Republicans.
Terri and other ill-informed members of the Arizany kookocracy operate under the fallacy that America was founded on Christianity even though there is no mention of it in the Constitution. Here's what our founding fathers said about religion (they were mostly deists and Freemasons):

"Question with boldness even the existence of a god." - Thomas Jefferson (letter to Peter Carr, 10 August 1787)

Where do we find a precept in the Bible for Creeds, Confessions, Doctrines and Oaths, and whole carloads of other trumpery that we find religion encumbered with in these days?" - John Adams

"Whenever we read the obscene stories, the voluptuous debaucheries, the cruel and torturous executions, the unrelenting vindictiveness, with which more than half the Bible is filled, it would be more consistent that we called it the word of a demon, than the word of God. It is a history of wickedness, that has served to corrupt and brutalize mankind." - Thomas Paine (The Age of Reason, 1794-1795.)
