Unsustainable: U.S. #1 Jailer in the world is a shameful statistic that also has caused the horrific deaths and damage to many innocent people in the U.S. prisons, jails, detention centers and more. Over 12 million on in prisons / jails / probation / parole / on their way in or out of America's mass industrial prison complex. The taxpayers cannot sustain or afford this. Arizona, once again, is masking these critical issues that no one wants to discuss. Where were the hearings on the Bush / Cheney / Rumsfeld "torture memos' which would implicate Arizona and their former wardens -- still in the system. How is that being allowed? Torture within our border upon our own people? Chairman Issa where is the reform and oversight here? Meanwhile hundreds of millions of taxpayers $$'s are pouring into Arizona away from the other states. Who's handling that money? Where are Senators Kyle and McCain's voices on this boondoggle of violent lose of lives?

Chairman Issa, What about criminal justice reform that impacts millions in the U.S. from inmates, their families and children --- destroying lives, society and America's future as #1 Jailer in the world? Is Fast and Furious masking the serious issue no one wants to talk about or recognize? Many have been violently killed, neglected or left to die in California and Arizona's prisons. What does this say about the lack of humanity and use of torture in Arizona and America? Where were the hearings on the "torture memos" when those responsible for the torture at Abu Ghraib and other foreign prisons are back in the U.S., kept THEIR jobs and are now imposing their "methods" within our borders?

Senators Finally Ponder the Question: Is Solitary Confinement Wrong? | Mother Jones

excerpt: "One retarded prisoner was found "lying face down in his own vomit and feces," and "died of neglect, alone in a cold cell."
