TUCSON — The University of Arizona plans to mark its new president’s first day on the Tucson campus since being appointed to the post.
Ann Weaver Hart will be welcomed on Monday by faculty and student leaders and a university band.
Hart has already officially taken over as the university’s 21st president and so far has been doing her job long-distance.
Hart worked previously as the president of Temple University in Philadelphia.
She replaces Eugene G. Sander.
Sander, a longtime dean of the university’s agriculture college, had served as interim president after then-university president Robert Shelton resigned to become executive director of the Fiesta Bowl.

Here is YOUR or should I say, OUR problem. It is Businesses. These GANGs a group of people that will cost the American TAX Payers, 100′s of 1000′s of Dollars per EACH person, or gang member, WHY, because businesses are so GREEDY that that can not spend $1.50 for a DRUG Test, get them all day long on EBAY.com. Sooooooooo for this $1.50 it also cost the LIVES of boarder patrol and DEA, and Police, our children. Compare, $1.50 or 100′s of 1000′s of dollars to send each of these people thru the Court system, county jail, prison, probation, parole, rehab, And then TRY it again. And businesses are the FIRST to cry about there TAXES being raised. Business, they do it to themselves.
