ATRA shopped for lawyers but couldn't find any to represent them in a lawsuit against this initiative. Bennett jumped in with both feet without even looking for legal grounds, and flushed his gubernatorial bid in doing so. He has wasted state money by paying the campaign's and state's legal fees for unilaterally making this decision without even getting an opinion with the AG's office first.
