Pearce, as a former deputy sheriff to Arpaio, didn't get his positions of power without others enabling him, allowing him to feel he could bigoted, racist and say whatever he wanted to say. He and his enablers have carried on for too many years with their culture of hatred, bigotry and racism inflaming the public and destroying many innocent families. Arizona has become a shameful laughing stock around the country. Its time to end the “rule of tyrants”. Read the New York Times Sunday Editorial page to see how others describe Arizona. Time to change the shameful legacy. Pearce should accept responsibility for his actions just as he has for years told others to do.
