In a brief interview yesterday that ended when he hung up on our reporter, Mitchell maintained that a vacant home that backs up to the Wigwam Golf Course in Litchfield Park is his legal residence, even though he acknowledged that he actually lives about two miles away in an Avondale home owned by his girlfriend.
