Ronald..there are many post on Prop 121 that indicate concers similar to your post. The political parties are not going away when 121 is passed...as a matter pragmatics the parties will become stronger and they will let us know whom they support...and, futher, they will let us know whom they don't support. If there are any phony or straw candidates on the ballot who may/might use a label that is not supported by political parties...we voters will be advised by the parties.
