I was also stationed in Okinawa (6990th Security Squadron) and in
Korat, Thailand (College Eye). My claim for agent orange was also
denied. Has anyone in either location received benefits due to
agent orange?

Submitted claim for disability due to exposure of Agent Orange at Korat, Thailand and/or Okinawa. It was denied due to exposure was not in Vietnam.
Records reveal veterans were approved for same exposure at identical locations.
Submitted appeal several years ago, but no response.

My husband who has a 30% disability VA rating submitted paperwork on 3/29/2012, to add me, his spouse of 16+ years, to his compensation. We registered with eBenefits to track his claim status, but could not find any information. We also called the Phoenix office and was told there thousands of claims waiting to be processed and to please be patient. We then called the VA Claims processing center in London, KY (where his claim was sent) and was told his claim probably would not be processed until 08/2013. His claim falls under the streamline process. Let me emphasize that everyone we have talked to has been very cordial, helpful and understanding. The problem is these people are inundated and overwhelmed with paperwork. Thank you for bringing this fact to light. There are MANY deserving veterans here in AZ and elsewhere that are in bad shape and not getting the services and compensation they need.
