"Arrangement? Really?? My God, they are talking a politico-judicial pseudo-dictatorship in Arizona and you want to move a paragraph or two? Clearly, your priorities need to be re-visited…....

That this could happen in America today is downright frightening. Okay, perhaps I’m being somewhat naive, but for it to be so public and so pervasive! What the hell are the citizens of Arizona doing while this plays out, sitting on their hands, thinking that it will magically go away when Dorothy clicks her red heels together??

People, people, people, we have to get it together and let our voices be heard NOW! It is inexcusable that this has grown to the proportions that it has…. I mean Arpaio has had a stranglehold on the “Justice” system in Arizona for years, it’s played out on the television for all to see, he has panned for the cameras, and yet they vote him back in again, year after year, And then when the big stuff (like this investigation for instance) hits the fan, they stand there, wringing their hands and wondering who is gonna take care of this mess ? Really??

I grew up in Tucson, back in the day when you were proud to mention names like Udall and Goldwater-oh, how I long for those days! Today, I’m reticent to mention my home State, simply or fear that people will assume that I’m some sort of ignorant racist, right out the gate!

Arizona, I weep for you…...."

Defendants in Arizona do NOT get away with minimizing any incident. A non-violent, first offender in Arizona is sentenced to 75 years -- a defacto life sentence for something most people would consider nothing.

As long as "ordinary" people in Arizona face the laws created by the prosecutors and lawmakers that destroy their lives, then the book should be thrown at the AG. He should resign. The AG's office is out of control and lacks credibility.

There should not be one set of laws for ordinary people and those elected to positions of trust, who are given a pass. We see this over and over again.

Until those controlling the power over the people face harsh penalties when they circumvent the law, nothing will change. The corruption will continue in a system that is unbalanced, stacked in favor of those in power.
