The Senate needs to reach out to ALL the people in Arizona, not just a few Dems in the legislature and lobbyists / special interests.

Time to provide Committee clipboards — on the opening day of the legislature — placed on the lobby counters of Senate and House desks. These are committees the people want to participate in.

We, the voters / citizens want to see Committee clipboards especially in the Senate, which has avoided the public on these critical topics impacting our lives — Prison Reform (education or incarceration favored?), Criminal Justice reform, Sentencing Reform, Family Courts / child custody and support issues, Citizens United reform, Term limits for County Attorneys and County Sheriffs, etc. The voters and citizens should to be involved instead of decisions being made behind closed doors.

Citizens / voters / constituents want their voices heard and want to participate on Committees to begin to solve the “peoples’ problems”.

eLatinaVoices, is an online community of women interested in the political, economic and social issues impacting communities. We are cognizant of the need for all parties to work together to resolve the issues related to the safety of children in Arizona. There is a serious concern over the fatalities, neglect and abuse of our children and the lack of priority when it concerns CPS and law enforcement agencies. We will not deter nor stop until legislators and law enforcement come up with solution to the problems plaguing the safety of our children. This must be a priority for this legislature.
