Nearly a year after he was forced to quit the Senate, Bundgaard has filed a lawsuit against the City of Phoenix, claiming city employees colluded to ruin his reputation and his political and economic future, and the police portrayed him as the abuser rather than the victim of the scuffle he had with his then-girlfriend in February 2011.
