Children are not safe in our streets, neighborhoods and schools. The legislators have a responsibility to universally look at the safety of children whether it is neglect of duty by law enforcement, child protective services, foster care and schools. Crandall helped cut funding for school resource officers and we recognize why he is now on the band wagon. All of the legislative body must accept the responsibility of educating, protecting and serving our children by shifting funding priorities where they do the most good. We are watching!
