RM, The immigrants pay into social security and don’t get it back. A huge amount is there that WE are living off of. If they all stop funding SS there wouldn’t be money for US! That’s certainly a hefty price they have to pay to be here.

According to the Social Security Administration, 75% of illegal aliens use fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers to obtain employment and other benefits. In so doing, they commit multiple felonies including Social Security fraud, forgery, perjury on I-9 forms and identity theft when the Social Security numbers they use belong to other people. These are not victimless crimes. Children are specifically targeted because no one uses their Social Security Numbers. These kids have their good names destroyed and are denied Medicaid and other benefits because income is earned on their names. They have arrest records attached to their Social Security numbers. Their credit is destroyed and their medical records may be compromised with life threatening consequences. They may even face liability for unpaid taxes on income earned on their Social Security numbers. Felonies committed by illegal aliens are serious crimes and go far beyond students using a fake IDs in their own names to buy beer.

The MCAO has a long history and pattern of targeting vulnerable individuals for “easy” convictions. Looking for “high-profile” labeling for political and financial gain. Meanwhile the truly dangerous and violent criminals get a pass. They don’t want to handle the tough and complex cases unless they are “high-profile” = career points.

The disgraced and disbarred former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas and his disbarred, “chief charging” prosecutor ex-DCA Lisa Aubuchon left Arizona and the taxpayers a legacy of over 200,000 felony cases (in one term in office) that Montgomery has ignored, and not opened an investigation these cases for the innocent and wrongfully convicted, wrongfully imprisoned, over-sentenced, over-charged, malicious prosecution and incompetence. Why? This is what should be a priority as it was with Dallas County, TX DA Craig Watkins when he took office. Many were found innocent and exonerated. If Montgomery does his job seeking fair justice, he would do the same. Instead he’s keeping the lid shut tightly on Maricopa County and the state of Arizona’s “Pandora’s Box”.

Targeting and witch-hunts have well-established patterns in Maricopa County so saying he doesn’t “target” is pure BS.
