The battle over Gov. Jan Brewer’s proposed Medicaid expansion has dominated the 2013 session, often obscuring action on other matters. But the first 109 days of the session have been notable for a number of other reasons. Here are 10 measures passed by the Legislature and signed by Brewer that could have an impact on Arizona.

By all accounts, Martin Gold was a humble and hard-working man. He was popular among the immigrant community, especially the Mexicans—who called him Don Martin—because of his facility with languages.
