Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer will be the keynote speaker at a Sept. 27 fundraiser for the New Mexico Republican Party.

Republican U.S. Rep. Steve Pearce says New Mexican Republicans call Brewer a strong conservative and says New Mexican Republicans will enjoy hearing from Brewer about issues important to the West.

The fundraiser will be held in Albuquerque.
