Lawmakers act fast in approving supplemental spending bills (access required)

The Arizona Legislature fast-tracked a collection of spending bills through the Capitol this week, approving measures that provide funding for hiring new child safety caseworkers and funds to cover lawmakers’ legal expenses related to SB1070 subpoenas.
