Dolan Company announces reorganization plan

The Dolan Company, the Arizona Capitol Times’ parent company, has hired five executives as part of a reorganization of the corporate structure.

The new structure will be organized by west and east regions, with vice presidents overseeing them.

Joni Brooks, former publisher of the Yuma Sun, will join the company as the western regional vice president and publisher of the Journal Record in Oklahoma City.  She previously was publisher of the ~Yuma Sun.~

Her counterpart will be Al Frattura, who will oversee the eastern region and serve as publisher of the Finance and Commerce operations in Mineapolis. Frattura previously worked as vice president of Freedom Communication’s Pacific Region and as publisher of the ~Yuma Sun.~

Frank Jalufka and Terri Nelson were hired as regional chief financial officers for the two regions and will operate out of Minneapolis. Both were executives with Freedom Communications.

Another former Freedom executive to join the Dolan team is Bill Cummings, who was appointed vice president of sales and marketing.
