		<description><![CDATA[U.S. Rep. Ben Quayle raised more and spent more than fellow incumbent Congressman David Schweikert in the last fundraising period for the 6th Congressional District primary between the two freshman Republicans.<br /><br />
Quayle raised $189,285 compared to just $80,645 for Schweikert in the pre-primary period, which ran from July 1 to Aug. 8. Quayle also outspent his rival, spending $797,766 to Schweikert’s $663,530.
