There is an ad running on National Public Radio that claims Arizona’s Clean Elections “opens the door to citizens to run for political office.” This is pure political propaganda because Clean Elections does not open any doors – that is, all the other requirements for candidates remain the same.

Is the Arizona Chamber really serious about business?

Electronic government records should be free to public

Electronic documents were supposed to be the ultimate answer to government openness. Reams of information could be bundled and sent off en masse with basically no overhead and no dead trees, and it would take a few seconds of clicking on a computer rather than hours at the copy machine.
