VP Joe Biden to headline Phoenix Obama fundraiser

Vice President Joe Biden is set to headline a fundraiser in Phoenix that will benefit President Barack Obama's re-election campaign, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic campaigns. Officials with Obama's re-election campaign say Biden will attend the fundraising lunch for 100 donors at the Heard Museum in central Phoenix late Thursday morning.

Arpaio asks for Obama’s Selective Service card

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has asked the Selective Service System for help in his investigation into the authenticity of President Barack Obama's birth certificate. The sheriff has asked the federal agency for the original Selective Service card completed by Obama in 1980.
